According to a fan, notice was given after most of the fans had entered the concert site.
The rest of the members took to the stage to explain the situation in Korean, then it was conveyed in Japanese by an interpreter. As the members were sorry to disappoint fans, they staged a few hits.
Some fans points out that BTS’ excessively busy schedule was at the root of the problem.
Full translation of Big Hit Entertainment‘s official announcement:
We are announcing that BTS’ concert “2015 BTS Live, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life on stage, Japan Edition” for Dec. 27-28 is canceled.
Member Suga and V immediately were sent to a nearby hospital during rehearsal due to their sudden dizziness.
Though no particular problems were found via the CT scans, the dizziness might have been a result of the intense dance moves throughout the performances.
Despite the members‘ strong will to go up on stage as a token of thanks for fans, we thought it was better for them to rest.
Fortunately, the two have been steadily recovering.
However, the whole concert has been canceled as the band could not stage a perfect performance with two members missing.
Suga and V will return to Korea and have an in-depth medical examination as soon as possible.
All tickets will be refunded and we are deeply sorry for the unanticipated occasion.
