“Welcome Back,” one of the hottest rookies of the country iKON’s first full-album in Japan released Wednesday, topped the Oricon daily album chart and sold 53,000 copies on that day, according to YG Entertainment, the group’s agency.

“Welcome Back” features hits such as “My Type,” “Rhythm Ta,” “Airplane,” “Climax” and “Just Another Boy” in both Korean and Japanese on two separate discs. B.I, the leader of the group, took part in composing and writing the lyrics.
iKON will hold a special fan event on Jan.22 at Toyos PIT in Tokyo and on Jan.23 at Tojima River Forum in Osaka, as well as a wide range of media promotion activities, according to YG Entertainment.
The group is also scheduled to hold a five-city Japan arena tour in February which will include Fukuoka and Tokyo.
Meanwhile, iKON will hold its second concert “iKONCERT 2016 ‘SHOWTIME TOUR’” at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Olympic Park, Seoul, Jan. 30-31.
The Korea Herald
