Park Hae-jin, who starred in both “Bad Guys” and “Cheese in the Trap,” may be the reason behind the success, as he is a rising Hallyu star who is coming hot on the heels of Kim Soo-hyun and Lee Min-ho in terms of popularity.

“Cheese in the Trap” has not been officially aired in China, as it has to go through a deliberation process. However, many are already watching the drama through illegal video-downloading websites. As a result, “Cheese in the Trap” topped Weibo’s drama chart, proving its popularity in China.
