Boy group Block B’s Zico made a successful shift in genre with his new song “I am You, You are Me.” Released on Monday, the track topped local music charts including Melon, Bugs, Mnet and Genie.

His special single album “Break Up2 Make Up” was unveiled with two main songs. The track list surprised the public as it was a complete shift from hip-hop to R&B.

Despite the huge change, Zico completely managed to express the tingling sentiments of love in the released album. His success with the songs established his stance as a musician with unlimited abilities.

The official music video was also praised as Zico and his counterpart appear in the clip with a mysterious and unique theme, matching perfectly with the song. The two exchange questioning looks at each other as they seem to be wearing the exact same outfits from head to toe.

There are high expectations for the second track from the album, which is also to be released on Monday. Reportedly, the music video will star an ex-member of AKB48, drawing global attention.
